Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip series of foldable phones is one of the company’s most popular foldables to date and it’s not hard to see why. While it isn’t exactly cheap by any means, it is more affordable than the Fold series, plus there’s that nostalgic factor that reminds us of the feature phones back in the day.
Oppo appears to want in on the action, too. Weibo reports that Oppo wants to make its own version. Samsung Flip series where it will feature an inner foldable display measuring 6.8-inches with a 2520×1080 resolution. The outer OLED screen will be 3.26 inches.
The rumored features of the Sony IMX766 include a 50MP Sony IMX766 ultrawide camera, a 32MP Sony IMX709 ultrawide and an 8MP Sony IMX355 digital camera. The 4,300mAh battery is also thought to be included in the device, which would make it slightly larger than its predecessor. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 currently offers this offer.
Take note that this isn’t Oppo’s first attempt at making foldables. Oppo previously introduced the Oppo Find N, which was a competitor to the. Samsung The Fold series is already a popular choice, and they should consider making a Flip-style model. There’s no mention when this particular Oppo handset will be announced, so we’ll just have to wait and see.
