I was constantly bothered by the way my shoes got dirty during my recent North Kerala trip. Why should you invest in shoe cleaners
For someone who owns multiple pairs of sneakers for different events, keeping them clean can be difficult. I don’t call myself a sneaker collector but maybe I am headed in that direction. Our shoes get wet whether we walk down the street or run the morning.

I have had a positive experience using Philips Sneaker Cleaner
I knew about premium wipes and brushes for sneakers but had no clue you could also buy a battery-operated and portable sneaker cleaner. It comes with three types of brushes, and can be charged by AA batteries that are easy to replace.
Its design is similar to a hair dryer. The shoe cleaner can be carried around in a small, lightweight, and convenient way. It is only 35og in weight and has an IPX5 water-resistance rating.
You can tell that this cleaner has serious business credentials by the three-tone design of the device. You can turn the cleaner on/off by using a single button. You will find the four AAA batteries at the base of the handle. If you’re a frequent traveller, a case for your travels would make it more convenient to keep the batteries in place.

When you turn it on, the cleaner will start rotating your brush. You get 3 removable brushes, each with a speedy motor of 500 RPM. They glide smoothly on your sneakers. The first one is a soft brush – designed for multipurpose use, which is safe to use on mesh and canvas materials. A hard brush is ideal for tough materials such as textured rubber and the soles of shoes. A sponge brush can be used to clean soft materials such as leather. These brushes are washable with soap and water, depending on what material you’re using.
Although the device can be used with all cleaning solutions, it’s best to use regular shampoo for everyday cleaning. Use water to wet the toothbrush, then switch the cleaner on. Once the cleaning is complete, use a dry towel to wipe off the sole of the shoe.
The Philips Sneaker Cleaner is a time-saver for me. The device is innovative and useful. The only problem with the sneaker cleaner was that it should have multiple speed settings.
