The Chairman of the Board, Alfonso Fernández Mañueco, has underlined that the planned investment of 100 million euros by Envision in Las Navas del Marqués (Ávila) means that “foreign investors find good reasons to settle in Castilla y León”.
Fernández Mañueco has participated in the presentation ceremony of the wind turbine plant together with the Minister of Industry, Reyes Maroto, in which it will be a factory that will create more than 100 jobs .
The Chairman of the Board thanked the Government of Spain and the company for its installation in the town of Avila, and pointed out that it is an “example of collaboration” in a Community that has 20% of the installed capacity in Spain of green energies .
“Nearly 90%” of the energy in Castilla y León is renewable, which “doubles the national average”, recalled Fernández Mañueco, and then underlined the “energy solidarity” of the Community, which produces more energy than it consumes .
This project “strengthens Castilla y León in the leadership in green energy” and is “excellent news for employment”, added the Castilian-León president.
The Envision factory is going to be a “tractor project that is going to generate the possibility of multiple complementary investments”, pointed out the president, who has emphasized that Castilla y León has “the doors open to all companies that want to grow and that want to innovate here.
“We offer – he added – low-priced land, direct aid, moderate taxation , even with the latest tax cuts . When they materialize, it will be the lowest taxation in the history of Castilla y León. These are measures that they contribute to generating economic activity in our land and creating jobs”, he stated.
